Jintex Precision Samples AI Liquid Cooling Microchannel Heat Dissipation Copper Material in May, Fastest Shipment by Year-End

Central News (Central News Reporter Tseng Jen-kai, Taipei, May 15) Terminal factory Jintex Precision has laid out the special new copper material market, and the AI liquid cooling microchannel heat dissipation copper material has been sampled in May, with the fastest shipment starting by the end of this year. This could potentially draw a second growth curve for operations.

Jintex Precision today exchanged with the media, revealing that a few years ago, Jintex Precision built a special new copper material refining plant in Taiwan. At the beginning, including technology development and customer expansion were very difficult. After several years of cultivation, it finally bloomed and drove the revenue for the first five months of this year to reach NT$1.987 billion, with a year-on-year growth rate of 63.18%; net profit attributable to the parent company was NT$18.94 million, ending six consecutive quarters of losses, with a single quarter EPS of NT$0.11.

Today, Zhou Jinxiu, vice president of Jintex Precision, stated that Jintex Precision can achieve oxygen-free copper with an oxygen content of less than 3ppm, achieving better conductivity and heat dissipation effects, just in time to ride the current AI wave, and can solve the heat pain points brought by high power and large power of AI servers from the material source, gaining more and more customers to adopt and use. Currently, the revenue ratio of special copper materials has reached 30%, becoming the main growth momentum for Jintex Precision this year.

Zhou Jinxiu explained that the oxygen content is like impurities, which will cause the electronic heat dissipation resistance to rise, and oxygen-free copper can greatly solve the related problems, and can be applied to the water cooling plate, heat spreader, heat exchanger, and heat pipe and cooling circuit of AI servers.

Among them, NVIDIA's new generation of AI server GPUs have introduced microchannel uniform heat technology. Jintex Precision, in response to the relevant heat dissipation architecture, has invested in the development of AI liquid cooling microchannel heat dissipation copper materials, which have been officially produced in May and are being sampled sequentially. The fastest shipment is expected to start by the end of this year or the beginning of next year, injecting new momentum into operations.

Zhou Jinxiu stated that to meet the strong demand of customers, Jintex Precision has launched an expansion plan at the Kaohsiung plant and purchased new equipment. It is estimated that the total production capacity of special copper materials by the end of this year can be increased by 1/3 compared to the current level.

Jintex Precision stated that the first quarter of this year is not a low season, and it is estimated that the overall operation for the whole year will show quarterly growth, and the gross margin will continue to improve.
