(Central News Agency reporter Chen Yuting, Taipei 9th) Taipei Rapid Transit Corporation (TRTC) stated today that a door malfunction alert occurred on a train traveling between Songshan Airport Station and Zhongshan Junior High School Station on the Wenhu Line. Consequently, approximately 190 passengers on board were arranged to transfer to the next train at Zhongshan Junior High School Station. Full line operations have resumed to normal.

The "Taipei Metro GO" app displayed around 5 PM today that, due to a train abnormality message on the platform at Dazhi Station towards the Taipei Zoo direction, train operations were affected, resulting in increased stopping and waiting times. Passengers were advised to allow an extra 15 minutes for their commute, and those in a hurry were recommended to use other transportation or transfer at other stations.

TRTC explained that when a door malfunction alert occurred on a train traveling between Songshan Airport Station and Zhongshan Junior High School Station on the Wenhu Line, following standard operating procedures, approximately 190 passengers were asked to disembark at Zhongshan Junior High School Station and board the next train, which arrived about one minute later. Full line operations have since resumed. (Editor: Li Hengshan) 1150609
