June Electronics and Financial Futures Fall Together

(Central News Agency, Taipei, June 8) The Taipei stock market fell 1,568.16 points today, closing at 43,502.78 points. June electronics futures closed at 2,794.65 points, down 135.05 points, with a backwardation of 18.88 points; June financial futures closed at 2,840.4 points, down 98.4 points, with a backwardation of 7.08 points.

June electronics futures closed at 2,794.65 points, down 135.05 points, with a volume of 248 contracts. July electronics futures closed at 2,785.4 points, down 149.9 points, with a volume of 1 contract.

The electronics spot index closed at 2,813.53 points, down 104.13 points; compared with June electronics futures, the backwardation was 18.88 points.

June financial futures closed at 2,840.4 points, down 98.4 points, with a volume of 498 contracts.

The financial spot index closed at 2,847.48 points, down 83.07 points; compared with June financial futures, the backwardation was 7.08 points. The actual closing price is subject to the announcement of the Taiwan Futures Exchange. 1150608
