(CNA, Taipei, by reporter Chang Chien-chung, June 8) Micro-contamination solution provider YOKE saw its revenue soar to NT$230 million in May, a new record high, thanks to contributions from shipments of its regenerable filters. YOKE anticipates that as shipments of these filters expand and demand from advanced packaging plants heats up, its future operations will be driven to new heights.
YOKE's self-reported May revenue of NT$230 million represents a 21.66% increase month-over-month and a 106.72% increase year-over-year. Cumulative revenue for the first five months totaled NT$910 million, an increase of 43.8% compared to the same period last year.
YOKE stated that wafer foundry clients are accelerating advanced processes and advanced packaging plants are actively expanding production, which has led to a rise in demand for filters. Furthermore, the commencement of regenerable filter shipments was the main driver that pushed May's revenue to a record high.
YOKE pointed out that in addition to the expected expansion in shipments of both single-use and regenerable filters, the company is also developing businesses in liquid filters and machine installation/removal services, hoping to inject new momentum into its operations. (Editor: Lin Ke-lun) 1150608
