(CNA, by Reporter Wang Hsin-yu, Taipei, 8th) Singer HowZ recently launched a podcast program, The Bloomin Room. In it, singer E.SO discussed his feelings about going solo from the group MJ116, sharing that he could feel all the attention and responsibility falling on himself. He also encouraged HowZ to simply embrace and feel his current state.
In the latest episode, the two discussed identity transition and growth. HowZ shared that he noticed E.SO's state was different when performing solo compared to with MJ116. E.SO admitted this and shared that in the group, he had Da-Yuan and Xiao-Chun to share the pressure, with a chemistry built over 10 years. However, during his solo tour, he had to bear all the attention and responsibility, which felt very different mentally.
HowZ previously served as E.SO's backup vocalist and toured with him. E.SO expressed his happiness when he saw fans starting to look up the works of his band members and vocalists. "I've always hoped that the people standing next to me could also be seen by everyone. I like the feeling of a hundred flowers blooming on stage."
As a senior in the music industry, E.SO also encouraged HowZ not to rush to label himself or to hope to know what kind of person he wants to become. He explained that many of life's answers take time to emerge slowly. "Don't keep thinking about what you want to become; just enjoy your current state."
Additionally, HowZ will hold the "2026 HowZ Bloomin: The Deepest Night" concert at Legacy TERA on August 22. Tickets will go on sale on the 13th.
