(CNA, Paris, June 7, Comprehensive Foreign Report) Czech player Katerina Siniaková teamed up with American player Taylor Townsend today to defeat Kazakhstan's Anna Danilina and Serbia's Aleksandra Krunic in straight sets in the French Open women's doubles final, successfully winning the championship trophy.
According to AFP, the top-seeded Czech-American pair took only about 90 minutes to defeat the second-seeded Kazakh-Serbian duo 6-2, 7-5.
This is the third Grand Slam women's doubles title that Katerina Siniaková and Taylor Townsend have won together, having previously triumphed at Wimbledon in 2024 and the Australian Open in 2025.
Anna Danilina and Aleksandra Krunic have now lost in a Grand Slam women's doubles final for the third time.
