ASPEED's May Revenue Hits Record High on Strong Server Chip Sales

(Central News Agency, Hsinchu, 5th) Server management chip maker ASPEED Technology's May revenue reached NT$1.282 billion, a new record high, representing a 68.74% increase year-on-year. ASPEED stated that the growth in server chip sales was the main driver behind the record revenue.

ASPEED's cumulative revenue for April and May reached NT$2.561 billion. Analysts expect ASPEED to successfully achieve its Q2 operational targets, with revenue reaching between NT$3.4 billion and NT$3.6 billion, setting a new record high and representing a quarter-on-quarter increase of 8% to 14%.

ASPEED's cumulative revenue for the first five months of the year was NT$5.708 billion, an increase of 61.73% compared to the same period last year.

ASPEED previously anticipated that, benefiting from stronger-than-expected demand for traditional servers, its H2 performance is expected to continue its sequential upward trend, with overall H2 results outperforming H1.

ASPEED expects that, in addition to continued growth in shipment volume, product generation transitions and the rapid ramp-up in shipments of new, higher-priced products will drive solid revenue growth next year. (Editor: Yang Kaixiang)
