(Central News Agency reporter Jiang Yijing, Yunlin County, June 4) The Changhua Dream Charity Group visited the Yunlin Family Support Center today to contribute to its educational support program. Liu Jia-zhen, who received assistance four years ago, expressed her gratitude to the charity group alongside her mother on the eve of her university graduation. She said that without the group's donations, she would not have been able to study with peace of mind.

The Changhua Dream Charity Group is composed of people from various professions and has been contributing to the Yunlin Family Support Center's educational program for five consecutive years. The donation has increased from NT$400,000 in 2022 to NT$620,000 this year. The group visited the center today, and Liu Jia-zhen and her mother presented sunflowers—symbolizing sunshine, hope, joy, and courage—to the 25 members of the Changhua Dream Charity Group to express their gratitude.

Xiao Wen-long, a board member of the Taiwan Fund for Children and Families and honorary president of the Changhua Dream Charity Group, stated that Liu Jia-zhen's mother is a Vietnamese immigrant who has long worked as a day laborer and occasionally serves as a Vietnamese translator for health authorities. Her father is unable to work due to long-term kidney problems, and she has a younger brother who is still in university.

Wang Yao-ching, a supervisor at the Yunlin Family Support Center, pointed out that the Changhua Dream Charity Group has been providing Liu Jia-zhen with NT$5,000 per month. Liu Jia-zhen and her mother had been eager to thank their benefactors in person.

Liu Jia-zhen said, "I am grateful for the group's support and encouragement over the past four years, which allowed me to study with peace of mind, fulfill my dream of completing my education, and spread my wings to fly."

Liao Zhi-wen, director of the Yunlin Family Support Center, presented a certificate of appreciation to the Changhua Dream Charity Group, thanking them for their contributions to educational support and talent development in rural areas. He stated that this long-term commitment and companionship represent a sustained force and an investment of love, using concrete actions to accompany students in remote coastal areas to transform their futures, allowing hope and warmth to take root and grow in these communities.
