NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang Makes Surprise Appearance at Arm Keynote, Discusses AI Agents Redefining PCs

Central News Agency, Taipei, June 2. COMPUTEX 2026 opened today. During the keynote by Arm CEO Rene Haas, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang made a surprise appearance, drawing cheers from the audience. Huang stated that NVIDIA is attempting to redefine the PC, envisioning a future where computers become AI agent systems running 24/7. Haas introduced the NVIDIA RTX Spark platform, which uses Arm-based chips, and invited Huang to the stage. Huang noted that while PCs have existed for over 40 years, the software and OS, traditionally written by humans, will be replaced by applications with AI agent capabilities. These agents will autonomously use tools to complete tasks. Huang emphasized that these autonomous systems require powerful processor performance, which is why NVIDIA uses the Arm architecture. Looking ahead, Huang predicted that computers will evolve into AI agents that operate continuously, allowing users to interact with their PCs via smartphones as if they were talking directly to the computer. He noted that in the future, it won't just be a billion people using computers, but tens of billions of agents, robots, and autonomous vehicles.
