Brothers Face Lions at Taipei Dome on the 2nd; Felix Pena Starts Against Former Team

The CTBC Brothers of the Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL) will face the Uni-President 7-Eleven Lions at the Taipei Dome tomorrow. The Brothers have named foreign pitcher Felix Pena as the starter against his former team. This marks Pena's first appearance against the Lions since his transfer. The Lions will start pitcher Kuo Chun-lin. The Brothers registered Pena after de-registering Nick Nelson on May 26 due to an elbow injury. Pena's first appearance this season was on May 27 against the TSG Hawks, where he pitched 3.1 innings, allowed 4 earned runs, and took the loss. Meanwhile, Kuo Chun-lin's last start was on May 21 against the Fubon Guardians, where he pitched 6 innings and allowed 5 earned runs. He has not faced the Brothers this season. In another game tomorrow, the current first-place Wei Chuan Dragons will host the Rakuten Monkeys at Tianmu Baseball Stadium.
