Kaohsiung's 'Ride with the Wind' Event Receives Enthusiastic Response; Next Session on June 13

The first session of the '2026 Kaohsiung Ride with the Wind' cycling event, hosted by the Kaohsiung Tourism Bureau, took place yesterday in Renwu and Dashe, drawing an enthusiastic response. The Tourism Bureau announced that the next event will be held on June 13 at Panhua Park in Sanmin District, urging the public to sign up. The first session, themed 'Guanyin Lake Eco-Cycling Tour,' connected Guanyin Lake with the Guanyin Mountain Scenic Area. Led by professional guides from the Kaohsiung International Cycling Tourism Promotion Association, 100 participants explored the landscapes of Renwu and Dashe. Finishers received roasted chicken as a reward. Tourism Bureau Director Kao Min-lin stated that the bureau has invested in facilities like lakeside trails and wetlands, hoping this event will help citizens discover new attractions in Kaohsiung.
