Taoyuan's Xiaowulai Unai Creek Water Play Area Opens June 6 with Smart Monitoring

Central News Agency, Taoyuan, May 31. The Unai Creek water play area in Xiaowulai, Fuxing District, Taoyuan, will be open from June 6 to September 28. The Taoyuan Scenic Area Management Office announced today that riverbed improvements and facility optimizations have been completed, and a smart monitoring system has been introduced for the first time to enhance safety. Since the opening of the hot spring pool last year, the Unai Creek area has been considered one of the 'Four Treasures of Xiaowulai,' alongside the Skywalk, Sky Rope Bridge, and Longfeng Waterfall. This year, in addition to local lifeguards, technology-based monitoring has been added. Director Liao Yu-yi stated that the riverbed has been cleared and shallow areas redesigned for different age groups. In June and September, it will be open on weekends and holidays; in July and August, it will be open daily except Tuesdays, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Five hair dryers have also been added for public use.
