Central News Agency (Taipei, May 31) In Game 4 of the TPBL Finals today, the New Taipei Kings, playing at home, secured a 96-93 victory over the Formosa Dreamers, thanks to three crucial free throws by Austin Daye with 29 seconds left. Following two missed free throws by the Dreamers' Brandon Gilbeck, the Kings took a 3-1 series lead. The TPBL Finals are a best-of-seven series. After splitting the first two games in the Dreamers' home court, the Kings won both games at their home venue. Game 5 will move to the Dreamers' home court. The Kings led 25-21 in the first quarter and extended their lead to 54-47 by halftime. Although the Dreamers narrowed the gap to one point in the third quarter, the Kings maintained a seven-point lead heading into the final period. In the fourth quarter, the Dreamers' Randall Walko scored 13 points, giving them a 93-91 lead with 44 seconds remaining. However, Austin Daye was fouled on a three-point attempt and sank all three free throws to regain the lead. Despite a late effort, the Dreamers could not score, and the Kings held on for the win. Daye led the team with 19 points.
