Man Allegedly Kills Mother and Falls to Death in Keelung

A tragic domestic incident occurred at a residence on Mingde 2nd Road in Keelung this evening. A 28-year-old man, surnamed Wang, allegedly killed his 59-year-old mother with a knife following a verbal argument. Afterward, the man fell from the rooftop and was declared dead at the hospital. Police investigation revealed that they received a report of a domestic dispute at 5:34 PM and dispatched officers to the scene. Police stated that the mother and son were involved in a heated argument. The son allegedly strangled his mother and attacked her with a knife, causing multiple wounds. She was rushed to the hospital but could not be saved. The man subsequently fell from the rooftop. The Keelung District Prosecutors Office is investigating the case. Police urge citizens to resolve family conflicts rationally and seek help if facing psychological distress.
