Cheng Loong Chairman Cheng Ren-ming stated that in the face of global supply chain restructuring, the AI digital wave, and the trend of net-zero transition, Cheng Loong will accelerate its overseas layout. Among them, the third phase of the Vietnam Binh Duong plant has been put into production, and the total paper packaging capacity is expected to exceed 1 billion square meters in the future. The company is cautiously optimistic about this year's operations.

Cheng Loong held its shareholders' meeting today, approved the 2025 business report and financial statements, and passed a dividend of 0.45 yuan per share.

Cheng said that the global economy will maintain a moderate recovery in 2025, and AI applications, smart manufacturing, and green energy investment will become important growth drivers. However, geopolitical and energy price fluctuations bring challenges. Facing market changes, Cheng Loong will focus on smart production and sales and regional layout to improve operational efficiency and supply flexibility.

Looking forward to this year, Cheng Loong stated that with the gradual recovery of demand in Taiwan and China, and the continued growth of the Vietnam market, the overall operation is cautiously optimistic. The third phase of the Binh Duong paper mill in Vietnam has been put into production, becoming the largest million-ton low-carbon circular paper base in the region.

The paper packaging layout is also expanding simultaneously. The second production line of the Binh Duong plant in South Vietnam has been put into operation, and the 6th paper packaging plant in Ninh Binh Province, North Vietnam, is planned to be completed in 2027. In the future, the total paper packaging capacity in Vietnam will exceed 1 billion square meters, further improving order stability and regional supply competitiveness.

In terms of low-carbon smart transformation, Cheng Loong continues to upgrade the decarbonization manufacturing value chain, introduces smart production and sales, intelligent cogeneration, and AI applications to improve energy management efficiency and operational performance. It is also deploying biogas green power and biomass cogeneration. The biomass cogeneration system at the Zhubei plant is operating stably, and the Houli plant has also started building the largest 120-ton biomass cogeneration system in Taiwan, gradually reducing dependence on coal and contributing to overall operating income.

Cheng Loong stated that following the biogas green power at the Dayuan plant, the wastewater biogas green power system at the Houli plant has entered the trial run stage. Through anaerobic treatment technology, organic matter in wastewater is converted into renewable energy, improving resource circulation efficiency.

Cheng Loong pointed out that it will continue to promote the three main axes of smart manufacturing, circular economy, and overseas layout, deepen low-carbon competitiveness and regional supply chain advantages, and promote corporate growth.
