Jensen Huang's 'Trillion-Dollar Dinner' Held; Industry Titans Like Wei, Liu, and Lin Attend

NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang hosted a dinner for top executives from his supply chain partners tonight. The guest list included leaders representing the cream of Taiwan's semiconductor and electronics industries, such as TSMC Chairman and CEO C.C. Wei, Foxconn Chairman Young Liu, Quanta Chairman Barry Lam, ASUS Chairman Jonney Shih, and Pegatron Chairman Ted Chiu. Following them, Huang's son, Spencer Huang, and daughter, Madison Huang, arrived. After arriving, Huang signed autographs for fans who had been waiting for a long time before entering the restaurant. The chairmen and general managers of the invited Taiwanese companies arrived one after another, including King Yuan Electronics GM Chang Kao-hsun, Lite-On Technology GM Chiu Sen-pin, Wistron Chairman Lin Hsien-ming and GM Lin Chien-hsun, AVC Chairman Shen Ching-hang, Acer Chairman Jason Chen, Inventec Chairman Yeh Li-cheng, and Pegatron co-CEOs Teng Kuo-yen and Cheng Kuang-chih. Also in attendance were Delta Electronics Chairman Cheng Ping, Wiwynn Chairman Hung Li-ning and GM Lin Wei-yuan, Foxconn Industrial Internet Chairman Cheng Hung-meng, Gigabyte Chairman Yeh Pei-cheng and Group GM Lin Ying-yu, Compal Chairman Chen Jui-tsung, Advantech Chairman Liu Ke-chen, and MediaTek CEO Rick Tsai. The invited supply chain covers fields such as semiconductor foundry, packaging and testing, thermal modules, power management, motherboards, assembly, and terminal brands. With chairmen and general managers attending in person, the total value exceeds NT$1 trillion, leading outsiders to describe it as the 'Trillion-Dollar Dinner.' In a brief interview, Ted Chiu said, 'We can talk about anything tonight. The most important thing is that Taiwan is currently in the wave of artificial intelligence. The AI wave is the center of progress, and Taiwan will play an important role.' Chiu pointed out that for Taiwan to continue moving forward, it needs a lot of effort, including talent, and many companies are working hard to expand production capacity. He added that a very important aspect is the effort to pursue more stable and sufficient power supply.
