According to CNA reporter Chung Jung-feng, following the record-breaking performance of the three major US stock indices, the Taiwan stock market rose on the 28th, hitting a record high of 44,909 points, up 652 points. TSMC reached a record high of 2360 TWD, up 2.6%, with its market cap hitting 61.2 trillion TWD. Among other electronics stocks, MediaTek and Delta Electronics saw slight declines, while UMC rose, ASE Technology jumped 4%, and Foxconn gained 1%. Securities analysts noted that while there is some profit-taking pressure at high levels, the index remains firmly above all moving averages, and the mid-term bullish trend remains unchanged.
