AI chip giant NVIDIA held a Taiwan employee meeting today at the site of its new headquarters in the Beitou-Shilin Technology Park (T17, 18). CEO Jensen Huang stated that NVIDIA must be a transparent company that everyone can trust and rely on, so the new Taiwan headquarters will adopt a transparent design. Construction is expected to begin at the end of 2026, with completion and opening scheduled for 2030. The opening video of the meeting addressed challenges such as stock price declines, competition, and geopolitical risks, before transitioning to the AI technologies showcased at the GTC conference in March, including robots, autonomous vehicles, and Agentic AI. Huang entered to applause, handing out lotion to employees and gifting signed champagne to those who recently got married. Huang revealed that the new headquarters will have no elevators and will use extensive glass curtain walls, matching the design of NVIDIA's next-generation buildings in the U.S.
