Bringing 'Bando' to the World: NT$100 Million Reality Show 'Please the World with Bando' Premieres June 6

Taiwan's first cross-border reality show, 'Please the World with Bando,' is set to bring the traditional Taiwanese banquet culture to the global stage. With a production budget of NT$100 million, the show features celebrities Sonia Sui, Blue Lan, Haozi, Chen Sui-yi, and food YouTuber Chien Chien as the 'Bando Taiwan Team.' Alongside master chefs, they aim to showcase Taiwan's hospitality internationally. The show features banquets at world-class landmarks such as the Sydney Opera House, Kumamoto Castle, and Times Square in New York. At today's premiere at the Grand Hotel, the cast shared their experiences, noting that the intensity of the filming far exceeded expectations. Blue Lan described it as 'throwing one's life into the kitchen,' citing physical challenges and injuries during the process. Haozi expressed pride in the project, stating it is 'doing something for Taiwan.' The show premieres on SET Taiwan on June 6 at 10:00 PM, with subsequent broadcasts on CTS and Videoland, and streaming on Hami Video and LINE TV starting June 12.
