Buffalo Resembling Trump Goes Viral in Bangladesh, Saved from Sacrifice

A rare albino buffalo in Bangladesh has gone viral on the internet for its unique golden hair, which resembles the hairstyle of U.S. President Donald Trump, earning it the nickname 'Trump.' The buffalo was originally scheduled to be sacrificed during Eid al-Adha, but Bangladeshi authorities intervened at the last minute today and decided not to slaughter it. The buffalo weighs nearly 700 kilograms and has light-colored hair on its head that looks like a helmet, resembling Trump's signature hairstyle. The former owner, Zia Uddin Mridha, noted that he named it 'Trump' because of its 'extraordinary hair.' Curious visitors, including social media fans, passersby, and children, flocked to see the animal. However, officials intervened due to security concerns caused by the large crowds and successfully saved the animal. Bangladesh's Interior Minister, Salahuddin Ahmed, ordered that the buffalo not be slaughtered, instructed that the money be refunded to the buyer, and ordered it to be moved to the National Zoo in Dhaka. Atiqur Rahman, the head of the National Zoo, said the buffalo would be well cared for, adding, 'We have prepared a special shed for this albino buffalo and arranged for caregivers. It will be quarantined for two weeks.'
