Beitou Shilin Tech Park Substation to be Underground, Taipei City and Taipower Reach Agreement

The Taipei City Government announced today that it has coordinated with Taipower to finalize the Beitou Shilin Technology Park substation as an underground transformer type. Short, medium, and long-term solutions have been planned. In the short term, power will be supported by the Xiandu and Bailing substations. In the medium term, a temporary substation will be completed within 20 months, ensuring sufficient power for NVIDIA's headquarters and other tech firms in the park. The underground design complies with urban planning and avoids electromagnetic interference.
