Domestic CNAPP "Cloudbase" Redesigns Container Image Screen to a UI for "Grasping Managed Targets"

Cloudbase Inc. has renewed the container image screen for its domestic CNAPP, "Cloudbase." This update adds an "All Projects" view for cross-project visualization of container repositories. The list view is now specialized for grasping basic information like "OS" and "Size," while removing potentially noisy risk counts. This allows users to streamline inventory management of their assets and focus on risk decisions that are more aligned with their actual operational context.

Cloudbase Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Koya Iwasa) has renewed the container image screen for its domestic CNAPP (CSPM, SBOM, Vulnerability Management) solution, "Cloudbase." This update provides a comprehensive visualization of container repositories across the entire organization. In conjunction, the list screen has been reorganized into a UI that allows for simple grasping of basic information such as "managed repositories" and "last push date." By organizing information that could diverge from actual response priority and consolidating risk verification into the detail screen, we support more practical operational decision-making. Development Background Through dialogue with many companies, we strongly feel that it has become common to operate containers across multiple projects and environments. In this context, we received requests from customers such as, "I want to get a cross-sectional view of the entire organization's container repositories," and "I want to simply check managed targets and update status on the list screen." Furthermore, the previous list screen displayed a number of risks that did not reflect their severity or SSVC evaluation, which could give an impression different from the actual response priority. Based on these challenges, Cloudbase redesigned the container image list screen not as a "screen for listing risk counts" but as a "screen for quickly grasping managed targets," leading to this renewal. Update Details This renewal includes the following three changes to the container image screen: 1. Support for "All Projects" view 2. Addition of "OS" and "Size" columns 3. Deletion of "Immediate Action Risks," "Misconfigurations," and "Vulnerabilities" columns Support for "All Projects" view Previously, the container image screen could only be opened on a per-project basis. Now, it is possible to display a list of repositories across all projects under the organization. By switching to the "All Projects" view, you can get a bird's-eye view of container repositories across multiple projects on a single screen, making cross-project inventory and management target identification easier. Addition of "OS" and "Size" columns Columns have been added to allow for checking the "OS" and "Size" of the most recently pushed container image in the list. This makes it easier to grasp the basic information of the repository at a glance. Deletion of "Immediate Action Risks," "Misconfigurations," and "Vulnerabilities" columns The following three columns have been deleted from the list screen: - Immediate Action Risks - Misconfigurations - Vulnerabilities The deleted columns displayed a "simple total count" regardless of risk severity. To reduce operational noise and allow users to focus on "risks that truly need to be addressed now," detailed information has been consolidated into the resource detail screen. Expected Effects This update is expected to make it easier to visualize container repositories existing throughout the organization, improving the efficiency of managed target identification and inventory tasks. Also, by organizing information that could be noise from the list screen, it will be easier for users to concentrate on the risks they should originally prioritize, supporting risk judgments that are more in line with the actual situation.
