Seminar Content
As the importance of strengthening global business and developing global talent increases due to the shrinking domestic market and the growth of overseas markets, domestic companies are setting ambitious goals for the growth of their overseas business.

On the other hand, securing internal human resources and establishing development systems for global talent development have not yet caught up. Companies continue to dispatch personnel overseas and assign them to global projects in a 'raw state' under a 'sink or swim' policy, and are unable to break free from various issues such as the stagnation of global talent, early returns, and low performance.

In this seminar, based on my own experience building the overseas business from scratch as Keyence's Head of Overseas Business, I will explain with practical examples how I interacted and collaborated with the Human Resources (HR) department to contribute to strengthening the overseas business during the process of expanding overseas sales to 160 billion yen and an overseas sales ratio of 50%.

We will deliver 'living information' for global talent development and overseas business expansion!

Seminar Instructor

Mr. Takashi Fujita
Former Head of Overseas Business, Keyence
Non-executive Executive Director, Insight Academy

As a pioneer, he led the launch of local subsidiaries in the US and UK to realize the corporate vision of 'exceeding a 50% overseas sales ratio' at the time he joined Keyence. After that, as Head of Overseas Business, he managed and guided 19 overseas local subsidiaries and about 160 overseas bases, and selected and trained over 100 Japanese expatriates. Aiming to permeate Keyence-style sales methods and promote the independent expansion of overseas bases, he conceived and built 'MOA', a global governance system. He laid the foundation for Keyence's current overseas sales ratio of 60%. Currently, as an 'overseas business professional', he takes the stage as an instructor on diverse training themes such as overseas expansion, base operation, talent development, and sales strengthening, and also supports companies as an advisor.
