Classmethod, Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Satoshi Yokota; hereinafter "Classmethod") will participate as a joint special class in the intensive lecture "Social Change Studio (Special Topic)" for graduate students at the Robert T. Huang Entrepreneurship Center of Kyushu University (hereinafter "QREC"). This lecture will be held on Saturday, April 25 and Sunday, April 26, 2026, at Kyushu University's Ito Campus, targeting approximately 100 graduate students with the theme of "Social Issues x Generative AI Utilization."
In recent years, as social issues such as a declining birthrate, aging population, regional decline, and environmental problems have become increasingly complex and sophisticated, the rapid advancement of generative AI is creating an environment where even individuals or small teams can quickly develop advanced prototypes. By combining the "ability to conceptualize social issues" from the entrepreneurship education QREC has been working on with the "implementation and development capabilities" of Classmethod, we will provide a practical educational opportunity to learn everything consistently from idea generation to prototype development.
Classmethod will be in charge of practical training programs utilizing AI as instructors, from environment setup using the AI coding tool "Claude Code" to prototype creation, implementation refinement, and pitching. This initiative will be centered around Classmethod's Fukuoka office, aiming to contribute to the development of IT talent in the Kyushu and Fukuoka regions.

In future graduate education, the ability to create new value based on specialized knowledge and connect it to social change will become even more important. This lecture is a place for practice that links conception to implementation by utilizing generative AI as a powerful means for that purpose. Through our collaboration with Classmethod, Inc., we expect students to deepen their learning while experiencing real-world knowledge and technology of programming using generative AI. We hope that students will take up the challenge as active agents creating change in society, opening up new possibilities starting from their own expertise.
Satoshi Yokota, President and CEO, Classmethod, Inc.
With the evolution of generative AI, an era has arrived where anyone with an idea can build a prototype at the same speed as an engineer. We are very pleased to provide an implementation experience utilizing 'Claude Code' to graduate students who are seriously facing social issues through this collaboration with Kyushu University QREC. Classmethod will continue to actively contribute to the development of human resources who will lead social change through the power of technology.
