Certified NPO CLACK (hereinafter "CLACK") announces a change in its Representative Director and a transition to a new management structure, effective April 1, 2026.

Left: Founder Daiki Hirai, Center: New Representative Director Yasutaka Inoue, Right: New Director Kanako Takahashi

CLACK was established in 2018 by founder Daiki Hirai with the vision of "creating a society where children can have hope and excitement, regardless of their upbringing." For seven years since then, based in Osaka and Tokyo, CLACK has engaged with over 1,500 junior and senior high school students facing various difficulties, such as single-parent households, school non-attendance, young carers, and those with international roots, by providing free digital education, career education, and creative hubs.

At the same time, strongly recognizing the structural issue that "not only children but also their parents' generation face difficulties," CLACK transitioned to a dual-entity structure with CLACK Inc. in September 2025 to break the intergenerational cycle of poverty. (*)

This change in management structure is the next step. Certified NPO CLACK will be responsible for supporting "learning" for junior and senior high school students, while CLACK Inc. will focus on supporting "work," primarily for single mothers. By further deepening their respective specializations, CLACK aims to accelerate the social change it seeks.

Furthermore, founder Hirai will establish the "Future of Work Research Institute" within NPO CLACK and assume the position of director. An agreement has also been signed to donate to NPO CLACK in conjunction with the business growth of CLACK Inc.

*Please refer to this press release for details on the dual-entity structure with CLACK Inc.

■ About the Management Structure

Effective April 1, 2026, Yasutaka Inoue, a current director, will assume the position of Representative Director, with an eye towards the further development and challenges of the organization.

<From Founder Daiki Hirai>

Since its establishment, with the cooperation of many stakeholders, we have been able to expand our support for high school students. Thank you very much. Looking back, when I was a university student shortly after founding it, we started from absolutely nothing – no money, no place, no computers, no teaching materials, no instructors, and even no students.

Now, we are able to provide digital education opportunities to over 300 high school students facing difficulties annually, and deliver AI training to over 3,000 high school teachers annually. The number of students who have received support, gone on to higher education, graduated, and are active in companies utilizing the digital skills they learned is steadily increasing. Again, thank you very much.

And now, as Certified NPO CLACK moves from the 0-to-1 startup phase to the next phase, I have decided to hand over the representative role to Director Inoue.

While my involvement will no longer be as a representative, I will continue to strive towards "creating a society where children can have hope and excitement, regardless of their upbringing." I kindly ask for your continued support for Certified NPO CLACK.

About the Donation Agreement

Daiki Hirai (individual) and Certified NPO CLACK have concluded a donation agreement aimed at returning funds to the NPO in conjunction with the business growth of CLACK Inc. This formally promises that if Hirai obtains economic benefits through IPO, stock transfer, dividends, etc., from CLACK Inc., a certain percentage of that will be donated to Certified NPO CLACK.

Furthermore, by clearly documenting the financial relationship between the individual and the corporation, it functions as a framework to enhance transparency and mutually confirm that no undue economic benefits arise.

<From New Representative Director Yasutaka Inoue>

I joined CLACK shortly after its founding and have been involved in business development as a management member. At that time, compared to now, there were fewer members, and we were desperate to operate a single program with a dozen participants. Through accumulating such days, we have recently been supported by many partner companies and monthly supporters, enabling us to provide programs and safe spaces that lead to self-reliance for hundreds of high school students.

On the other hand, having been involved in child support for over 10 years since my university days, I feel that supporting self-reliance for children in difficult circumstances in the AI era is an even greater challenge than before. What was once considered the "correct" path for higher education and career has begun to change significantly.

However, precisely because of such an uncertain situation, I believe it is even more necessary to utilize the knowledge and expertise CLACK has gained through accompanying each high school student, to present and share new models with society, and to change the system.

While feeling the weight of the representative baton I have received, I will continue to dedicate myself to realizing "a society where children can have hope and excitement, regardless of their upbringing," as before.

We kindly ask for your continued support for Certified NPO CLACK.
