Yotsukaido City has concluded a "Partnership and Cooperation Agreement for Promoting Waste Edible Oil Recycling towards the Construction of a Sustainable Society" with JGC Holdings Corporation (hereinafter "JGC HD"), Revo International Inc. (hereinafter "Revo International"), and SAFFAIRE SKY ENERGY LLC (hereinafter "SAFFAIRE SKY ENERGY"), and has joined the "Fry to Fly Project."
This initiative aims to increase the annual collection of waste edible oil, currently around 10 tons, further promoting its recycling and contributing to a decarbonized society.

What is SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel)? It is a sustainable aviation fuel made from non-fossil raw materials, which significantly reduces CO2 emissions over its lifecycle compared to conventional aviation fuel. The government is also promoting the strengthening of domestic SAF production systems.
Japan's First Large-Scale SAF Production Project JGC HD and Revo International, in a joint venture with Cosmo Oil Co., Ltd., established "SAFFAIRE SKY ENERGY" and have commenced the manufacturing and supply of domestic SAF.
What is the Fry to Fly Project? It is a project proposed and led by JGC HD to realize a world where aircraft fly using SAF made from domestic resources such as waste edible oil generated in households and stores. Special Website
