[Yokohama City] Cleaning the City for GREEN×EXPO 2027! ~Tunktunk Colors the Walls of the Former Tokyu Toyoko Line Section~

GREEN×EXPO 2027 (hereinafter "EXPO") reached the one-year countdown to its opening on Thursday, March 19, 2026. To mark this milestone, temporary decorations have been installed on three wall sections located behind bus stops under the elevated tracks of the former Tokyu Toyoko Line (between Yokohama Station and Sakuragicho Station) until the end of the EXPO. This area has seen frequent illegal graffiti, and local residents have called for improvements. Through these decorations, we aim to build momentum for the EXPO while preventing the recurrence of graffiti and improving the city's landscape.

1. Decoration Details: EXPO decorations were applied to the walls behind each bus stop. The design features the official mascot character "Tunktunk," giving the space under the tracks a bright new impression. These decorations were installed on Thursday, March 12, and Friday, March 13. 2. Locations: Decorations were implemented at three wall locations behind the following bus stops under the elevated tracks of the former Tokyu Toyoko Line (between Yokohama Station and Sakuragicho Station): 1. Hanasakibashi Bus Stop 2. Yukimibashi Bus Stop 3. Momijizaka Bus Stop
