Toyonaka City has been undertaking a project to improve the area around Osaka College of Music from FY2014 to FY2024, which involved developing the landscape along the road connecting Shonai Station to the college. This project aims to create local vibrancy and interaction through music. Features developed include sidewalks designed with musical staves, streetlights inspired by musical notes, a stone piano, and flower beds with keyboard motifs. To allow more people to enjoy the developed landscape, a stamp rally titled "Road Tour Where You Can Feel Music" will be held. Participants who collect seven digital stamps from various spots will be awarded 300 "Machikane Points," a unique digital local currency of the city.
