Original frame stamps titled "Ayuko Suzuki's Hometown Toyohashi," featuring Ayuko Suzuki (Japan Post Group Women's Athletics Club), a Tokyo Olympics women's marathon representative from Toyohashi City, have been released!!

On Monday, March 23, 2026, Ayuko Suzuki visited Toyohashi City Hall to report the release to Mayor Naoto Nagasaka.

She smiled and said, "I would be happy if this becomes an opportunity for people nationwide to learn about the charm of Toyohashi City!"

Limited to 700 Sheets!! Sales Start in Higashi-Mikawa

The original frame stamps "Ayuko Suzuki's Hometown Toyohashi" have been on sale since March 16, 2026, at all post offices in Higashi-Mikawa (excluding some simple post offices). Limited to 700 sheets, one sheet (10 x 110 yen stamps) costs 1,850 yen (tax included).

From March 25, 2026, sales also began on "Japan Post's Online Shop," making them available nationwide to anyone! (Additional shipping fees apply for purchases.)

Designs Feature Toyohashi City's Famous Places! Public Hall, Yoshida Castle, Nonhoi Park, etc.

The stamps feature Ayuko Suzuki earnestly competing, as well as symbolic Toyohashi landscapes such as Toyohashi City Public Hall, Yoshida Castle, Asian elephants at Toyohashi Zoo and Botanical Park (Nonhoi Park), and the Toyohashi Oni Matsuri (Demon Festival).
