Hokkaido's Largest Game Event Reaches Its 5th Year: 'Sapporo Game Camp 2026' Officially Announced!!

The Sapporo Game Camp Executive Committee, in which Sapporo City participates (Chaired by Takaya Segawa from Sega Sapporo Studio), will hold the 'Sapporo Game Camp 2026' for three days from October 9 (Friday) to 11 (Sunday), 2026, with the aim of fostering game creators in Sapporo and further promoting digital entertainment.

First launched in 2022 by game development companies based in Sapporo, the 'Sapporo Game Camp' is entering its fifth year. To date, a cumulative total of 4,400 people from inside and outside Sapporo have participated, allowing it to grow into a flagship event symbolizing the 'City of Games, Sapporo.'

This year as well, we will prepare various programs to convey the excitement of game development in Sapporo. Please look forward to further updates.

Over the past four events, the number of participants has reached a total of 4,400, and I am deeply moved every year by the sincere passion and creativity that fills the venue.
