Nogata City: Recruitment Starts for 'Monthly Health Lecture You'll Regret Missing'

Nogata City will open the "Nogata Citizen's College Manabi no Mori" in fiscal year 2026 as a new initiative to systematically support citizen learning. As its first offering, the "Monthly Health Lecture You'll Regret Missing" will be held.

This lecture series will feature monthly talks by medical, exercise, and nutrition specialists, providing practical health knowledge immediately useful in daily life.

Lecture Highlights ◎ "You'll Regret Missing" - Directly applicable to real life Topics carefully selected include how to interpret health check-ups, diet, sleep, exercise, and stress management, all of which can significantly impact quality of life. ◎ Easy to continue with once a month 10 lectures annually, held once a month. This learning system is designed to be manageable for working generations and seniors. ◎ Highly reliable lectures by experts University professors, registered dietitians, and other specialists in each field will present scientifically-backed, accurate knowledge.

Position of the Project "Manabi no Mori" is a citizen's college project aimed at providing citizens with opportunities to access specialized and high-quality learning, and to utilize that learning in their daily lives and community activities. Starting with this health lecture, various themes will be developed in the future. Nogata City aims to stimulate citizens' intellectual curiosity through this lecture and create opportunities to "apply learning to life."
