Nara City: Special Exhibition 'Japan Traditional Crafts Kinki Exhibition in NARA 2026' Held

The Nara Crafts Museum (1-1 Azejime-cho, Nara City, Nara Prefecture) will host the special exhibition "Japan Traditional Crafts Kinki Exhibition in NARA 2026" from Thursday, May 14, 2026, to Sunday, May 24, 2026. The Nara Crafts Museum, established to promote and develop Nara's crafts honed through a long history, aims to convey the charm of Nara's traditional crafts and foster greater interest through understanding the current state of traditional crafts and regional exchange. The exhibition will feature approximately 30 works, including award winners from the "55th Japan Traditional Crafts Kinki Exhibition" and selected artists residing in or near Nara City.
