Minamiashigara's Proud Products Gathered
Minamiashigara City established the Minamiashigara Brand Certification System with the aim of promoting the city's image and industrial development by certifying and widely promoting excellent products made from the city's regional resources as the "Kintaro's Hometown Minamiashigara" brand. To date, 12 products have been certified.
Following the Minamiashigara Brand Certification review, "Daiyusugi®" has been newly certified as a Minamiashigara brand. A certificate awarding ceremony was held on March 19, Reiwa 8 (2026). With this addition, the number of Minamiashigara brand certified products has reached 13. Tengu Hauchiwa Senbei These tile crackers are inspired by the eight-lobed fan-shaped leaves, said to have been wielded by the guardian Tengu of Daiyuzan Saijoji Temple (also known as Doryoson) to ward off seven kinds of misfortune and bestow happiness. Available in peanut, miso, and black sesame flavors.
Tengu Senbei Modeled after the nine-leafed Tengu fans, said to be held by the powerful Tengu associated with Daiyuzan Saijoji Temple. Available in peanut and butter flavors.

Geta Manju Named in homage to the "Wago Geta" (matching clogs), a symbol of faith at Saijoji Temple. Made with domestic ingredients, including Hokkaido red beans and Hateruma black sugar from Okinawa, these black sugar manju have a chewy texture.

21 Kintoki Yamame This yamame (cherry salmon), raised in the clear stream of the Karikawa River in Minamiashigara City, selected as one of the "Top 100 Water Villages in Japan," is characterized by the beauty of its fins and spots, and its lack of gaminess. The local yamame lineage of Minamiashigara City has been preserved for over 30 years.
Ganso Murakami no Tengu Senbei Shaped like the Tengu's leaf fan, a symbol of Daiyuzan, and bearing the name of Daiyuzan, these Tengu senbei have a classic crispy texture that is not too hard, with a subtle sweetness of peanuts and miso, offering a simple and delicious taste.
Kintaro Banana Born in the land of the Kintaro legend, Kintaro Bananas are highly nutritious, with a rich flavor and mellow aroma. Grown without pesticides and using organic materials from the vicinity as fertilizer, they are safe and secure, gentle on the body and the environment. They are a luxurious domestic banana, unlike imported ones, and can even be eaten with the peel.
