Maizuru City is recruiting one "Community Revitalization Cooperator" to be appointed as of October 1, 2026. In collaboration with the host organization, Agricultural Corporation Fururu Inc., the individual will work on revitalization activities utilizing the agriculture, food, and nature of the Oura district, as well as promote immigration through the use of the vacant house bank. Key activities include implementing new experience programs that leverage the characteristics of the Oura district, creating guided tours, disseminating information via SNS, and branding local products. Additionally, in cooperation with the city, the role will involve promoting registration for the vacant house bank, supporting property viewings, and introducing the region to potential immigrants as part of settlement promotion activities. Through these efforts, the city aims to foster future settlement and residency through on-the-ground activities, thereby maintaining and strengthening community vitality.
