[Held on June 2] Maizuru City and Otsuka Pharmaceutical Collaborate to Protect Citizens' Lives with "Heatstroke Prevention Ambassador Course"

Maizuru City, in co-sponsorship with Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. Keiji Hokuriku Branch, will hold a "Heatstroke Prevention Ambassador Course" at Naka Sogo Kaikan on June 2 (Tuesday) to protect citizens' health from the increasingly severe summer heat.

Background of the Event
With the risk of heatstroke increasing year by year due to recent abnormal weather, there is an urgent need to train individuals who can take leadership in their communities and workplaces to spread awareness and countermeasures. In this course, an instructor from Otsuka Pharmaceutical, possessing specialized knowledge, will be invited to impart "correct countermeasures" in an easy-to-understand manner, incorporating the latest topics.

Key Points of the Course
- Issuance of "Ambassador Certificate": Those who pass the confirmation test after the training will be awarded a certificate proving their knowledge of heatstroke prevention.
- Practical Awareness Tools: Participants will receive "Countermeasure Awareness Flyers" that can be used immediately in the workplace. Awareness activities can begin from the day of the course.
