Maizuru City and Kyoseki Sangyo Sign Agreement for Disaster Relief Supply

On April 9, 2026, Maizuru City entered into an agreement with Kyoseki Sangyo Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kyoto) regarding the supply of essential supplies during disasters. Under this partnership, Kyoseki Sangyo will provide 6,000 units of its specialized disaster-relief air mats and the necessary number of air pumps upon the city's request. Founded in 1935, Kyoseki Sangyo is an insulation and material company that leveraged its expertise in cushioning materials to develop these mats. The company will store the supplies in its own warehouse and handle transportation to designated evacuation centers during emergencies. Maizuru City will bear the costs based on market prices at the time of the disaster.
