Machida City, Tokyo: Tamagawa University Faculty of Liberal Arts Holds Collaborative Class Student Presentation!

Machida City and Tamagawa Gakuen Educational Corporation are jointly promoting initiatives aimed at forming a sustainable society and contributing to the development of the environment and local community through the utilization and circulation of trees within the city. This is based on the "New Resource Circulation Business Partnership Agreement for Wood-Related Initiatives of the 'Machida no Ki Utilization Project' and 'Tamagawa Mokurin Project' by Machida City and Tamagawa Gakuen Educational Corporation," concluded in fiscal year 2025.

We are pleased to announce that a student presentation will be held for the collaborative class conducted with Tamagawa University Faculty of Liberal Arts, focusing on the theme of utilizing local satoyama resources.

On the day of the event, students will present their solutions to various regional issues facing Machida City's satoyama, which they have developed through fieldwork and self-study, to Machida City.
