The "Kita-Con" Executive Committee has decided to hold a new entertainment event, "Hokkaido Entertainment Convention in Kitahiroshima City" (commonly known as Kita-Con), in Kitahiroshima City, Hokkaido, on Saturday, November 14, and Sunday, November 15, 2026. Details regarding the hours will be announced at a later date.

This event will be co-hosted by the "Kita-Con" Executive Committee and Kitahiroshima City, with plans for it to be held annually every November starting from 2026.

### Event Content Kita-Con is a pop culture event centered on anime, games, and manga. Admission is generally free, and the program will include: - Stage programs - Experience-based events - Merchandise sales area - Collaborative blood donation events - Cosplay and "Itasha" (wrapped car) displays (Participation fees required for these specific activities)

### Image Characters The illustration will be handled by Hagure Yuki (known for Hololive's Usada Pekora) and Oto. Additionally, Yusuke Kumagai, one of the original planning members for Hatsune Miku, is participating as a design concept collaborator.

### Logo Design Contest The current logo is a tentative design. The official logo will be selected through a public contest targeting design schools in Hokkaido, mainly in the Sapporo area. ENGI Co., Ltd. (Sapporo Studio) will handle the final touch-ups.

### About the Executive Committee and Partners - **Koichi Terasaka (Founder/Chairperson):** A native of Sapporo with deep ties to Kitahiroshima. His career started at SNK and continued at Hudson (founded in Sapporo), where he handled promotion and production for various games. He now works as an independent producer for general entertainment. - **ENGI Co., Ltd.:** A hybrid digital animation studio established by KADOKAWA, Sammy, and Ultra Super Pictures. They aim to create cutting-edge video content using the latest technology.
