Kawasaki City's "Kawasaki TEKUTEKU" is a walking app that allows users to accumulate points by walking, which can then be donated to municipal elementary and junior high schools to support children.
This year, with the aim of raising awareness and promoting measures against heatstroke before the summer heat intensifies, we will hold a collaborative event with Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.'s Metropolitan Area Second Branch, a sponsor of Kawasaki TEKUTEKU.
This event allows participants to enjoy getting accustomed to the heat (so-called heat acclimatization) through walking, thereby promoting health and contributing to heatstroke prevention. Additionally, participants can receive special Kawasaki TEKUTEKU points (100P) and enter a lottery for prizes such as Otsuka Pharmaceutical's "Pocari Sweat."
