Just the Right Sound Flowing Through the City Hall

Kawachinagano City will begin a new instrumental in-house broadcast aimed at improving employee workability and creating a comfortable working environment.

This initiative aims to create new value for the city hall environment through 'sound,' utilizing instrumental sound sources newly produced by musician Hajime Sakita, who also created the branding song 'Wachi! Kawachinagano' for the 2025 Osaka-Kansai Expo. It incorporates natural sounds and daily life sounds from within the city, recreating a 'soundscape' that evokes the essence of Kawachinagano within the city hall.

This will promote the creation of an environment where employees can work at a comfortable rhythm, and as part of inner branding, it serves as a mechanism for them to regularly feel the city's charm and value. Moving forward, through such initiatives, we aim to enhance employees' attachment to their workplace and improve the quality of citizen services.

Furthermore, we will continue to explore the utilization of this initiative by local businesses and other organizations that support its purpose.

■Hajime Sakita: A musician residing in Kawachinagano. Known as a pioneer of the musical saw (saw instrument), he is widely active in producing stage music and regional branding songs.
