Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum and Fukui Prefectural University Dinosaur Faculty Collaborate to Open 'Dinosaur Junior Academy'!

Katsuyama City, Fukui Prefecture, will hold the 'Dinosaur Junior Academy in Katsuyama,' a 5-day inquiry-based educational program for junior and senior high school students from August 24 to 28, 2026. Participants will experience fossil excavation, observation, research using digital technology, and presentations under the guidance of researchers. The program utilizes Katsuyama City's rich dinosaur resources, including the Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum and the Fukui Prefectural University Dinosaur Faculty. The participation fee ranges from 45,000 to 90,000 yen depending on residence, with a total capacity of 50 students.
