Want to convey Kashiwa's charm! Tourist Guide Training Course to be held

To train tourist guides who can learn about the attractions of various areas within Kashiwa City and convey Kashiwa's charm, a course will be held to plan original tour courses. In fiscal year 2026, a total of five sessions (lectures, town walks, etc.) will be held in each area, targeting the Masuo and Tega districts.

① "Want to convey Masuo's charm!" Course Section

[Location] Masuo Community Center (Meeting Room A)

② "Want to convey Tega's charm!" Course Section

[Dates] (FY2026) October 10 (Sat), October 24 (Sat), November 7 (Sat), November 21 (Sat), December 5 (Sat)

[Location] Palette Kashiwa (Multi-purpose Space A and others)

Eligibility/Capacity: High school students and above, 30 participants for each course on a first-come, first-served basis.

Fee: 3,000 yen per course (all 5 sessions)

[Day 1] Lecture (History of Kashiwa City and overview of the relevant area)

Workshop ① Let's talk about your favorite spots in a group

[Day 2] On-site training in the relevant area (walk around historical spots in each area)

[Day 3] Lecture (In-depth exploration of the history and cultural resources of the relevant area)

Workshop ② Let's delve deeper into your favorite spots by yourself

[Day 4] Lecture (About conveying your "favorite" and guiding)

Workshop ③ Let's decide on a theme in a group and create a course

[Day 5] Presentation of tour courses created by participants, Closing Ceremony
