Contec Corporation, established in November 1999, provides sales, rental, and repair services for various containers, primarily focusing on marine and JR railway containers. A key feature is their nationwide network of container yards across 7 prefectures, with maintenance personnel stationed at each office, enabling immediate emergency response for containers requiring regular inspection and maintenance, such as reefer containers. This headquarters relocation and expansion is due to the increasing importance of managing over 6,000 rental containers and strengthening headquarters functions in line with business expansion. By continuing to have its headquarters in Kagoshima City, its founding location, the company is expected to significantly contribute to Kagoshima's industrial promotion and job creation long-term. A container yard is a place for storing and repairing containers. The 'Contec Corporation Headquarters' to be relocated and expanded will be located at 8-1 Higashikai-cho, Kagoshima City.
