Overview

Itabashi Ward will once again hold the popular 'Satsuki Festival' at the Event Square on the 1st floor of the Itabashi City Hall North Building. This project is organized by the ward with the cooperation of JA Tokyo Aoba and Johoku Satsuki Association, and aims to promote local agriculture by holding Satsuki exhibitions and selling freshly harvested local vegetables.

Details

Works carefully cultivated by Satsuki enthusiasts will be exhibited all together. The exhibits will feature colorful Satsuki of various sizes, from small mame bonsai to those over 1 meter tall. On the first day of the exhibition, judging will be conducted, and awards will be presented by Itabashi Ward and the Japan Satsuki Association.

[Satsuki Exhibition] May 10th (Sun) - 14th (Thu) 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (until 4:00 PM on the final day)

[Satsuki Sale] May 11th (Mon) - 14th (Thu) 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (until 4:00 PM on the final day)

[Local Agricultural Product Sale] May 12th (Tue) - 14th (Thu) 11:30 AM - 2:00 PM (ends when sold out each day)

Freshly harvested local vegetables and fruits grown by local farmers will be sold. The sale is very popular every year, and it is expected to sell out by early afternoon.
