Ichihara City, Chiba Prefecture, in collaboration with The University of Tokyo Graduate Schools, will hold "AI Class & Programming Class 2026" for elementary and junior high school students. Participants will experience cutting-edge learning and also have the opportunity to tour the Hongo Campus of The University of Tokyo, providing a chance to boost children's motivation to learn.

A course to learn programming using the small computer "micro:bit".

A course to learn "Python", a programming language widely used for artificial intelligence programs and more.

A course to learn about the impact of AI on society and daily life, and to experience AI firsthand.

Following the classes, a tour of The University of Tokyo's Hongo Campus is also planned. This will not only foster learning but also serve as an opportunity to envision "future possibilities".
