Ichihara City, Chiba, will host 'Kodomo Festa 2026' on June 27th for preschool children and their families. Held at the Ichihara City Central Budokan, the free event features handmade attractions. Applications are accepted via a form until May 31st, with a lottery system if demand exceeds capacity.

Date and Time: June 27 (Saturday) 1st Session: 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM / 2nd Session: 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM (Reception starts 15 minutes before each session)

Venue: Ichihara City Central Budokan (ZA Martial Arts Arena) 1474-1 Noman, Ichihara City, Chiba Prefecture

Access: Parking available (approx. 170 spaces). *Participants should use the 3rd parking lot. *Note: Kominato buses from JR Goi Station (bound for the History Museum) do not run on weekends and holidays.

Eligibility: Families with children before elementary school age. *Older siblings (elementary school students) may also attend.

Admission: Free

Capacity: 450 people per session. *If applications exceed capacity, a lottery will be held. Results will be sent to the registered email address around June 12 (Friday).

Notes: - Indoor footwear is required as shoes are prohibited inside the venue. Shoe lockers are not available. - Please be aware that photos will be taken on the day for city PR purposes. - Please refrain from entering designated areas other than event booths and restrooms. - Please keep a close watch on your children at all times.
