On May 5th (Tuesday, public holiday), the "Hitachiota Satoyama Festival ~Forest Echo in Satomi~" will be held at the Satomi Fureai Hall event plaza. The event will feature sales of local specialties such as local vegetables, local sake, cheese, and handmade soba noodles, as well as workshops using local cedar and cypress. In the event plaza, stage events such as music lives and taiko drumming by Hitachiota Ambassador Ryota Fuji and others are planned.
