Announcement of 'TOYODA Beer Fest 2026'

TOYODA Beer Fest 2026 will be held this weekend (Saturday, May 23rd and Sunday, May 24th).

2026 marks the 11th year since the revival of TOYODABEER.

Following the 10th-anniversary celebration last year, which utilized the Toyoda Station South Exit plaza (bus rotary) as the venue, many locals and visitors from afar gathered, filling the compact space in the center of the town with liveliness and excitement.

This also created a new flow of people, with those seeing the scene from inside Toyoda Station or the Chuo Line trains spontaneously stopping by.

Urban renewal projects (implemented by Hino City) are ongoing around Toyoda Station, and there are voices saying, 'It is sad that the station area, which is the face of the region, is always under construction.' However, there are people who are not just voicing their concerns but actually taking action, saying, 'Since it is the town we live in, we want to do something about this situation ourselves.' Through the planning of these individuals (including the event organizers), the "TOYODA Beer Fest 2026" has been continued.

As this event contributes to "encouraging interaction between residents and users of the Toyoda Station area," one of the event's objectives, the organizers will continue to boldly close the traffic plaza under development for urban renewal to create a community exchange space again this year.

In addition to "encouraging interaction between residents and users of the Toyoda Station area," the event aims to "revitalize the commercial area, which has been worked on for many years," and "create urban spaces where pedestrians and residents take center stage as a proposal for the utilization of public space."

It is organized by the Toyoda Area Management General Incorporated Association, with support and cooperation from surrounding groups. Hino City Hall is providing cooperation for the event as part of the urban development of the commercial block on the south side of Toyoda Station, which is currently being developed through the urban renewal project.

1. Date and Time: May 23 (Sat) 12:00–20:00 (Road closure: 11:00–21:00); May 24 (Sun) 10:00–16:00 (Road closure: 09:00–17:00)
*There will be an eve festival on the 22nd (Fri) selling some beer. Please refer to flyers for details.
2. Venue: Toyoda Station South Exit Plaza and surrounding land under urban renewal/private land.
3. Objectives: (1) Encourage interaction between residents and users of the Toyoda Station area, (2) Propose utilization of public space, (3) Revitalize the commercial area.
4. Contents: Food and drink from craft beer breweries and local restaurants, outdoor music performances, etc.
