Hamamatsu City is currently conducting a crowdfunding campaign to support the Nakanocho Fireworks Festival, which is managed by a local executive committee. The target amount is 11.91 million yen, and the campaign runs until July 31, 2026 (Friday).
The donations received will be carefully utilized to build a sustainable operation, starting with safety measure costs (venue security, traffic guidance, etc.) to ensure the fireworks festival is held safely, as well as printing and binding costs for posters and programs. Even if the target amount is not reached, the donations will be used for this project. If donations exceed the target, they will also be used as a resource for this project.
Applications for donations are accepted via the 'Government Crowdfunding' section on the hometown tax portal site 'Furusato Choice'.
