Chiyoda Co., Ltd. (Suginami-ku, Tokyo, President and Representative Director: Masatoshi Machino) will begin airing a new TV commercial featuring comedy trio "Hanako," Chiyoda's image characters, starting Thursday, March 26.
Our company, which began its journey in 1936 (Showa 11) as "Chiyoda Shoes" in Koenji, Tokyo, has reached its 90th anniversary. To express our gratitude for our customers' continued patronage, we will hold the first phase of our 90th Anniversary Grand Thanksgiving Sale from Thursday, March 26 to Wednesday, April 8. In the new TV commercial "90th Anniversary Grand Thanksgiving Sale" spot, the three members of Hanako appear in a comical, three-head-short figure! They enthusiastically introduce the Grand Thanksgiving Sale, and upon hearing about special prices up to half off, they rush to the store.
In the "Spatt 5007" spot, which introduces the new Spatt shoes from CEDAR CREST equipped with all AIR sole technology, the three members of Hanako showcase a series of cool poses in sync with the catchphrase "Fits any outfit, Spatt!".
